Who we are

Rillis Mac Videography documents events as they happen, specializing in full-day wedding coverage. From the quieter moments early in the day to the celebration afterward, the approach is observational and uninterrupted, preserving the full experience as it naturally unfolds.

Ryan has been behind a camera for most of his life. Many of the family’s favorite home videos are filmed from his point of view, dating back to his elementary school years — everyday moments, gatherings, and celebrations recorded quietly and honestly. That early way of observing continues to shape how he documents events today.

Ryan leads all filming and editing, focusing on continuity and completeness rather than staging, interviews, or cinematic reconstruction. The end result is a feature-length event film, typically 1.5 to 2 hours long, designed to be watched start to finish and revisited over time.

Coverage is provided by a trusted team. Steve, Ryan’s dad, and Amy, Ryan’s fiancée, serve as second and third shooters when needed, allowing for extensive multi-camera coverage — often utilizing up to nine cameras throughout an event. This approach ensures multiple perspectives and uninterrupted documentation without interfering with the flow of the day.

Behind the scenes, Amy also manages marketing and client communication, supporting a clear and smooth experience from first inquiry through final delivery.

And while the only wedding he’ll be attending is his parents’, their basset hound, Brucey, is an essential part of the team’s off-camera support system — providing copious amounts of comedic relief and therapeutic snuggles.

At its core, Rillis Mac Videography is rooted in observation, reliability, and the belief that meaningful moments are best preserved exactly as they are lived.
